Posting Grades from Gradebook

Modified on Wed, 06 Dec 2017 at 01:35 PM

Your site would need to open a Grading Window (example Progress 1) and your teachers would need to post to from their Gradebooks.  Make sure you only open the one specific grading task you are after (i.e. Progress 1, Quarter, Progress 2, Semester [in Term 1 - think Semester 1] -- Progress 3, Quarter, Progress 4, Semester [In Term 2 - think Semester 2])  -- Grading Windows are opened by select front office staff under the direction of site administration.

Then the teachers can multi-post from their gradebook.  You can also single Post from a specific section gradebook via an orange Post button.  These will only work if the Grading Window is open.

Once they are posted the teacher can switch to Progress 1 (or whichever Grading Task you are storing at the time) to see the posted grade.

You would also be able to verify this as you would see a posted grade in the Grades (tab) on a student for that specific Grading Task.

Note: Grade Scales

TK-2nd grade teachers need to use the 1-4 Elementary Grade Scale.

3rdgrade - 12th grade teachers need to use the A, B, C, D Grade Scale.  With the exclusion of Continuation that has their own Grade Scale to emulate variable credits.

*note that teachers can make their own Grade Scales that fall within these parameters, but it's a larger task and if done incorrectly could add lots of work on their end cleaning it up.
