Newer technology on laptops especially can lead to a situation where the Schedule Wizard displays incredibly small on the screen and does not scale with the resolution of the monitor. This is an issue in Java that can be corrected by configuring the Java Launcher properly. Note - this configuration may need to repeated if/when Java is updated on your machine
Below are the configuration steps for Windows:
- Open File Explorer
- Click on This PC
- Open the C Drive
- Look in Program Files and/or Program Files (x86) for a folder called Java
- If Java folders exist in both Program Files AND Program Files (x86) perform the following steps in each
- Open the jre.### folder
- Open the bin folder
- Find the Application called jp2launcher
- Right-Click the Application and Choose Properties
Click on the Compatibility Tab - Check the box for "Override high DPI scaling behavior"
- Choose System from the dropdown
- Click Apply
- Close the Properties Panel
- Re-Launch the Schedule Wizard
- DONE!
